Beautiful nature and a complex infrastructure attract thousands of tourists to Gabala. Several five-star hotels, family-run small hotels, recreation areas and tourist bases have been opened recently. The region, which has a beautiful nature, is rich in walnut and chestnut forests. In addition, there are many sources of mineral water and fountains throughout the city. At the foot of the mountains, at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level, there is a chestnut forest. The average age of each of these trees is 500 years. Some of these trees are included in the list protected by the state. Flora and rich fauna of the area attract hunters during the season.
